Marked with its highly specialized team and in line with its broad vision that compatible health care can only be achieved through a thoroughly selected medical and technical expertise, Doctor Abdulrahman Taha Bakhsh Hospitals group made available a good number of consultants qualified with higher certificates from The American and Canadian boards as well as fellowship or membership holders of British and German Medical membership. In addition to their experiences of more than ten years in the various medical fields. The beginning was in 1973 when special clinics were being run within Dar Al Shifa and Bakhsh Clinics. They were considered to be at that time the first private hospital in Jeddah. The construction of the hospital buildings were executed by one of the American construction companies specialized in hospital construction works. Since its early stage of establishment Bakhsh Hospitals Group proved to offer distinguished standards as it has been classified as number one in the western region of Saudi Arabia in the field of medical treatment services according to Ministry of Health evaluation for the year 1983.

For the sake of providing compatible medical treatment in the region and to help customers in avoiding efforts and financial costs incurred when traveling abroad seeking for medical services, the idea of establishment of Bakhsh specialized clinic arised. It needs mentioning that it was due to the humane attitude towards the private sector and the aid of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, our idea has been successfully materialized and so Bakhsh Hospital was founded in 1979. Effective from 2001 this group of hospitals are being known as Doctor Abdulrahman Taha Bakhsh Hospital's Group, which comprises of hospitals in the Kingdom's Western Region covering Jeddah and Makkah. Doctor/Abdulrahman Taha Bakhsh Hospital obtained classification from the International Hospital Federation.

We are very proud to add that Doctor Abdulrahman Taha Bakhsh hospital is the first hospital that recruited foreign doctors to work in the kingdom and the first hospital that has a medical scholar consultant to work in conjunction with the hospital moreover, it is the first hospital in the kingdom that conducted sex change surgery and shattering kidney stone with ultrasonic waves. The hospital's nursery unit has been awarded a certificate from Makkah region for its quality programs.
When considering that each project has its own vision and goal for the achievement of which all the project's efforts are directed, we can say that Bakhsh Hospital has established ambitious future plans and long term strategies in order to take pave with the most advanced and latest developments and technologies adopted by the hospital.
